The two punks were about to lift Ye Zi up when they suddenly realized that a bright light flashed by their side. The two looked back subconsciously and saw the little light gray sparrow with a strange light all over its body rushing towards them.
The tall man was knocked flying and passed out from hitting the back of his head on the bricks.

Ye Zi hadn’t sobered up yet as he blinked blankly: “What?……”
“You——” Gu Yan closed his eyes, telling himself in his mind that he couldn’t reason with a drunk.
Prince Rui, who hadn’t dealt with affairs seriously in over 20 years, interrogated prisoners for a whole day in the Ministry of Justice’s prison today. He extorted confessions through severe torture, using both gentle methods and force, and forced half of the prisoners to confess their crimes in one breath.

Gu Yan’s movements faltered and then he heard Ye Zi whisper again: “Gu Zicheng, I’m not happy.”

mc is really.. I don’t have a favorable impression of him in this chapter and earlier scenes. Poor little sparrow getting the short end of the stick each time. 🤧
